Abstract

With a click of a button, the world can change, it is bridging, building, synchronizing, it is digital world. By and large, influence of social media on human behaviour is soaring and in-depth, digitalisation of social circle is a powerful tool to transform human civilisation. It controls almost any area of human life, but how constructive is the control or how significantly the digital world could influence the human mind is a matter of concern. Social media as per dictionary refers to all websites and applications that enable users to create and share content or to participate in social networking. For a person to be a member of any social media, he or she has to first sign up and then sign in to access content and be able to share and chat with other users of that social media platform. Some of the common and widely used social media platforms include Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Snapchat many among others.
