This investigation is aimed at studying the different levels of Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Behavior among secondary school teachers in Hassan and Mysore districts. It also attempts to find out the relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Behavior. The sample of the study comprises of 582 teachers from 99 high schools of Karnataka state selected on proportionate random sampling technique. Findings of the study that there exists a positive inter-relationship between the variables, namely, Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Behavior and it is significant at 0.01 level.
