Abstract

This paper explores the lacuna of Indian Higher education and the increasing mobility & migration of Indian students to US (United States of America) universities and focuses on the need for applying US standards of higher education to stop brain drain. The globalization has driven Indian youth to find sustainable opportunities outside India. There is an increasing trend of Indian youth mobility across India. Indian youth are heading towards west in search of higher education degrees. They are willing & pursuing higher education in abroad specially US universities. The number of Indian student studying in USA has grown by 25% to reach highest level since 1999.
