Abstract

The present research study was undertaken to investigate the effectiveness of Yoga education on academic achievement among 8Th standard students. Experimental method was adopted for the study. The sample consisted of 120 eighth standard students, divided into two groups: one is experimental and another is control group. The experimental group was taught by package based on Yoga in education and the control group was taught by traditional method. The results of the study indicated significant differences between the experimental and control groups in academic achievement. The result showed that there is a significant difference between academic achievement of both the groups. Yoga in education is influenced on gender with respect to academic achievement.t-test was used to analyse the collected data.
