Abstract

The history of the Constitutional Revolution in Iran is full of ups and downs. In fact, it is a story of fight between the old feudal values and the new bourgeois thoughts. The military coup against the Constitutional Regime by Mohammad Ali Shah and his incessant efforts to suppress the Revolution and revive the old despotism after his father's death constitutes an important part of the Iranian contemporary political history. In this article, we have tried to take an analytical look at the history of the First Constitution and examine the situation of the press at that time.
