In the present study an attempt is made to see whether male and female adolescents studying in standard 9 differ in their level adjustment. A total of 100 adolescent students studying in Mysore city were randomly selected. They were administered Bell's Adjustment Inventory (1968) (which measured adjustment of an individual in 4 areas-Home, health, social and emotional). Independent samples‘t’ test was applied to see the differences between male and female students. Further, Gender had no differential influence over adjustment scores in home, health, emotional, and social areas.
