Codification of strategic plan for Islamic Azad University of Behshahr in Iran by using swot and space matrix

A strategy is an overall approach and plan. So, strategic planning is the overall planning that facilitates the good management of a process. Strategic planning takes you outside the day to-day activities of your organization or project. It provides you with the big picture of what you are doing and where you are going. Strategic planning gives you clarity about what you actually want to achieve and how to go about achieving it, rather than a plan of action for day-to-day operations. That is a strategic plan, is a road map to lead an organization from where it is now to where it would like to be in five or ten years. The purpose of this research was Codification of University Strategic Plan for Islamic Azad University of Behshahr. Moreover, in this study, the strengths and weaknesses, threats and opportunities were identified by using the SWOT matrix. Then for each factor of SWOT matrix was scores based on important and then the position and location of university in space matrix were determined. And based on University position, strategies for a period of 5 years were written.
