In this overview of “Elasticity of poverty in downtown of Ardakan” we examine elasticity of poverty in the area for the 2005 era. In this paper, we considered on literacy and employee rate as a major cause of poverty on the area. Retrospective analysis of urban poverty on the area, Ardakan city and whole the country/Iran is discussed in the paper. This paper concludes that social Alarm is already run in this part of the city. So, it is time to change some policies and reorient in urban management toward poverty alleviation on the area.
