Since thermophilic microorganisms prefer living at temperatures not commonly found in nature, but in water heaters, their preference for hot temperatures has given rise to some speculation about their evolution.
The sample was collected from some hot springs in pune during 2010. Thermophile microbes are usually isolated and cultured on solidified nutrient media so used nutriant agar for culture samples. The objective was to isolate thermophile that growh in hot springs.
The selected samples will be identified by conventional morphological studies, biochemical tests. Keywords: Thermophile, fountain, isolation, biochemical tests
