Considering this point that the objective of geographical science is the study of the mutual relations between human and environment, the study of rural environments have been regarded as important from the geographers’ standpoint from the advent. Among the various features which are the indicatives of being considered as a city or it is likely that it is the primary reason for its coming into existence, is the creation of a surrounding farming area which provides the basis for the nutrition of urban population by means of mass production and also it can be counted as a market for final or incomplete urban products.
This research has been done on the basis of the available resources in the libraries, field work, and interview. The main purpose behind this research is the study of social and economic effects of metropolises on the surrounding area, its major role in changing farming exploitation, and the development of new activities in metropolitan area which is regarded as the main cause of revolution in the farming exploitation of Shandiz village.
