Abstract

Over hundreds of years, India, Arabia, and other Middle Eastern countries have interpreted the term Sufism with varied meaning. Numerous historical documents as well as contemporary publications have mentioned about the Sufism, but still many of us not aware about the Sufism and their ideology. Again some people presumed the Sufi as the people who performs wonders. But in reality Sufism is neither a religion nor a cult, they are not either from east or from west. It means wisdom that can bring a person towards truth. Sufism believes in the divine origin of every form of worship in which the unity of religious ideals is respected.
