Abstract

The aim of the present study is to find out the position of social prestige in female faculties of Islamic Azad University in Iran. The sample contained of 437 males and females faculties of Islamic Azad University. The basic research instrument is the “Researcher-designed questionnaire” that the Likert spectrum with 5 degrees and in two domains of rate of importance and capability of being administrative, is designed and made for each propositions. data analyzed by two independent samples T test and the results revealed that: The “Faculty's social prestige” in Islamic Azad University is significantly more than average [t = 6.30, P <.05]. More over there is significant difference in male and female Faculty's social prestige [t = 6.30, P <.05] and there is no significant difference in Faculty's social prestige as perceived by less experienced and high experienced.
