Abstract

This present study examined the relationship between religious orientation and problem solving skills with happiness in Zanjan high school students. The subjects in this study included 331 female and 305 mail student selected randomly cluster from high schools of Zanjan. for measure problem-solving skills from Adolescent coping questionnaire was used (ACS, Fraydberg and Lewis, 1993), for religious orientation, from religious orientation questionnaire (ROS, Allport and Ross, 1967) and for to measure the happiness as Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (OHQ, Hills and Argyle, 2002) was used. The findings of this study show that there is significant relationships among the rational problem-solving style and avoid with happiness students In addition considering religious orientation, the study revealed that students with internal religious orientation are happier than those external religious orientation
