Comparative study of Omar Khayyam Neishabouri and Abul-ala Moarri

This paper attempts to investigate the views and thoughts of two contemporary poets namely Omar Khayyam and Abul-ala Moarri whose mysterious personalities and attitudes have turned them into great literary men of the world. Their reputations have gone far beyond geographical borders, and their thoughts impacted many learned men of the east and west. They highly valued logic and rationality as the main sources of inspiration for their way of living and thinking manifested in their verses. However, they had similarities and differences in terms views and thoughts. This study is going to shed light on these commonalities and discrepancies.
