Abstract

The main goal of this research was to study the level of Communication Apprehension (CA) among the students of Management and Accounting of Islamic Azad Universities of Anar and Rafsanjan. The survey research method was used in this study. The statistical population of this research was comprised of all of the students of Management and Accounting in bachelor and associate degrees at the first semester of academic year of 2010–11 (N=400). The sample size was estimated according to the table of Garjasi and Morgan (n=194). The cluster sampling method was used to select the sample. Some classes in each university were chosen and the state of CA among all of them was measured using Mc Crosky's self-expression inventory, the reliability of which was α=0.94. Chisquare test was applied in order to analyze the findings. The results of this research eventually suggested that the level of CA among Anar and Rafsanjan students was very high and there was no significant difference between the states of CA among these two universities. There was also no significant difference between male and female students of these universities.
