Resiliency in athlete and non-athletes female students

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study which is conducted of athlete and non-athlete female student in high schools of kazeroon city. The purpose of this study is to investigate resiliency in athlete and non-athletes female students. For the purpose of data collection, a structured questionnaire was designed and generated from 65 athlete and 270 non-athletes female students (By using cohen sample table). Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS 20) were used to analyze the data, findings revealed that athletes are significantly better than non-athletes in resiliency. Therefore according to the consequence of this study, it is necessary to improve their resiliency by encouraging them to participate in sport and physical activity.
