The current research is from survey study by descriptive-correlative method and refers to study the attitude of residents of rural touristic regions of Masjed Soleiman located in Khuzestan province toward the effects of rural touristic effects in 2009. The statistical community of this research is the residents of rural religions residing in villages with touristic attractions and the touristic effects of these villages are understood by residents. The volume of statistical sample was selected 335 by use of tukman tables and by stratified random sampling method. In order to gather data, the questionnaire and for analysis of data, SPSS software was used. The independent variables of this research are included of individual and professional characteristics of residents, the rate of their communication with tourists and dependence of their income to tourism, understanding its economical, social, cultural and environmental effects and the dependent variable of that is attitude of residents toward development of touristic activities. The results gained from correlation of variables indicated positive and significant relation between residents’ attitude with variables of age, income, rate of dependence to tourism, rate of communications with tourists and understanding their effects.
