Abstract

Rhetoric includes various topics which make speech beautiful and pleasant. Chiasmus (or Ghalb) is one of these cases and consists of replacing words’ function or diacritical marks and/or vowel endings and letters. This is done in a subtle and precise wayin order to draw the curiosity of the listener. Chiasmus has different types and is accounted for cases of non-required appearance. It has opened its place in rhetoric far away from the past and has been taken into consideration.
