Lecturer evaluation is to assess the merits and weakness of a lecturer's performance and assessment of the teachers’ scholarship in his subject or related subjects; his techniques of meeting each teaching situation, class-room management and relationship with students, peers and superiors, and finally his sensitivity to problems of life and learning5. Thus, the need for a good system of performance evaluation of lecturers cannot be over emphasized.
