This article is about the symbolic significance of the use of color in subjects in an artistic work. In the story of the modern Uzbek prose Abdulla Qahhor “A mourning at the wedding” and Shukur Kholmirzaev “Green niva” color application in the precmets is studied. It is determined that the directed towards the manifestation of a deep philosophical-aesthetic creative idea, which is opposed to the traditional symbolic expression of color, indicating the psychological dramatism of the personality of the former saline period.
