The contemporary home school movement seems to be having a significant impact on society and education in particular. Home schooling is a method in which children's education is obviously parent-controlled or directed (and sometimes student-directed) during regular school hours on regular school days of the week. Caregiver and home- and family-based education have been practiced by numerous civilizations throughout history, and it has never vanished in some of them, despite the fact that it did not resurface in the United States until the 1970s.
