This paper is concerning audio-lingual pedagogy with digital language laboratory. The language laboratory is an essential input for effective teaching and learning and developments in information and engineering have made it possible to deploy this resource effectively in open and distance education. The analysis focuses on the core technology involved, the language skills to be developed, learning activities that the laboratory would enable the educator to explore.
