This article is devoted to the study of the problems of metaphors used by writers in popular Uzbek novels in Turkish translations, in which the subtleties of the meaning of the metaphors chosen by the authors, the peculiarities of these units are considered. The fact that the Uzbek and Turkish languages belong to the same language family requires the translator to be very careful when translating the work, to study the original source in depth, and most importantly to know the two languages, the mentality of the two peoples at the expert level.
