Abstract

This article provides information about a new, widely studied concept of realia in the field of linguistics, opinions expressed about it by various scholars, and, most importantly, a structural analysis of some English and Uzbek food realias is carried out in the article. In the research, the realias are classified in the tables according to the formation of nouns. Each table has its own results and discussion, and at the end of the table, some realias that seem to be incomprehensible for future researchers are explained in more detail. Comparative-typological, synchronic and diachronic methods were used to identify similarities and differences between the English and Uzbek food realias. The research work can serve as a model for future researchers in their field of study.
