Abstract

This article is devoted to the architecture and compositional solution of the Bibi Khanum Mosque, built by Amir Temur for his beloved wife. The names of the masters and architects who built the mosque by the decree of Amir Temur are unknown. The location of the building was chosen by Amir Temur on May 10, 1399. The courtyard of the architectural ensemble is a building with a main mosque to the west and small mosques to the north and south. The Bibikhanum Mosque, a masterpiece of art built by Sahibkiran, is a classic example of Central Asian architecture and a monumental architectural structure.
