Geopolitical importance of the Chinese-Pakistan economic corridor

This article aims to shed light on the geopolitical significance of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (SPEC), which is currently considered one of the most important initiatives in Sino-Pakistani cooperation. At present, China is pursuing an active foreign policy, especially in the field of trade and economy. At the same time, China is now actively pursuing its “One Belt One Road” (OBOR) project. In addition, the opening of this corridor will be an opportunity to exert geopolitical influence on India, a regional rival of Beijing and Islamabad.
