Abstract

The article analyzes some works of the Uzbek children's prose, created during the years of independence. They provide a new interpretation of the relationship between humans and animals. Some works are compared with world children's literature. In children's literature, animals are often described as figurative. For example, bears are clumsiness, a kid is frivolous, a turtle is lazy. An example is the works of all genres of Soviet children's literature.
