Additional elements come as simple and compound sentences as the subject of complex sentence syntax, become syntactic constructions that transform them into complex sentences and create a new syntactic category. This article studied the problem of application phenomena in linguistics, identifies the basic functions of applied elements, and explores the structural and semantic properties of applied elements.
