The growth rate of the "digital economy" in the world is almost 20%. In developed countries, the share of the "digital economy" in GDP has reached 7%. They are already reaping the benefits of the digital economy. In the future of modern development, research is being conducted on the use of large data, the prospects for the use of artificial intelligence and crowdsourcing, methodological aspects of the introduction of block-chain technologies and the impact of these technologies on socio-economic development.In recent years, Uzbekistan has taken a number of measures to introduce digital technologies in the socio-economic life of the country and public administration in the framework of comprehensive reforms to radically modernize the national economy. This article develops the national concept of "digital economy", which provides for the modernization of all sectors of the economy on the basis of digital technologies to achieve the goal of developing a digital society in the country, creating favorable conditions for the population and entrepreneurs, developing an effective and transparent public administration system free from bureaucratic barriers and corruption, to study the processes associated with the additional growth of gross domestic product through the development of the digital economy.
