The article discusses the results of a study of ways of expressing dependent taxis in English language. Taxis, being a highly controversial category, express the meaning of simultaneity - the multi-temporality of conjugate actions performed in an integral time period. The dependent taxi is expressed both lexically and grammatically (morphological and syntactic means). The semantics of the dependent taxis are conveyed by both analytical and synthetic grammatical methods.
