The article is devoted to the study of pragmatic meaning in dialogic questions and answers, in which the analysis of why and what type of dialogic units is involved. It is known that interrogative sentences in Uzbek language are divided into simple (definite) interrogative sentences and rhetorical interrogative sentences.The rhetorical question does not have to be answered in sentences, and at the same time the answer must be found without going beyond the limits of sentence proposition.
