Fauna and phenology of malaria commits (diptera: Culicidae) and their epidemiological significance in the Surkhandarya region

Abstract

The results ofphenological observations of malaria mosquitoes (Diptera: Culicidae) in the south of the Surkhandarya region from 2015 to 2020 were analyzed.Key dates in the life of mosquitoes were established: the beginning of emergence from wintering, the appearance of the first preimaginal stages, the emergence of the first generation of adults, and diapause. The dates of the period ofpossible transmission of malaria in the south of the Surkhandarya region have been calculated retrospectively.
