Europe and Asian economies are influencing global trade and investment with political and economic power impacting financial markets across the world. This study using monthly data from 2008 to 2018 finds the influence of European markets on Indian stock market, NIFTY. The study used statistical methods such as ADF, Linear regression analysis finds the significant influence of Euro next & DAX and insignificant of FTSE and also negative influence of CAC and Euro on NIFTY.
