The article examines the current state of food security and priority areas for progressive reforms in the country. The population of the Republic of Uzbekistan increases from year to year, and due to its high quality and high-quality food supply is one of the most pressing issues, a number of measures are being taken to further develop the industrial sector, including the food industry. The country has been implementing a thoroughly planned reform of the foodstuffs of the country's rising population, including measures to ensure the structural reorganization, modernization and diversification of production for 2015–2019 by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 4, 2015.
