The role of museums in saving the national identity of Karakal Pakistan

Abstract

This article intended to show the immerse importance of the museums which narrates from the past, in the process of studying the historical background, worldviews and national identity of Karakalpak people. Because at the museums's the past representing exhibits national identity of Karakalpak nation is embodied. Especially, it can be recognized in the antiquities which are kept in the Karakalpak Art Museum named after Savitskiy, Nukus museum of local lore, and Historical Museum named after Berdak. In this event national dress passes, fun shows, concerts of Folk and Variety show, scene of museum photos(living exhibits), puppet show were presented. Furthermore, excursions, documentary films, presentation, interactive games presented. Today in museum's treasure there is more than 85.thousand masterpieces and values from people's practical work, especially, in museums there can be found such kind of historically rare ethnographic and folk practical masterpieces, which represent Karakalpak identity and they supposed to belong to 3th BC till now. While performing our duty as a responsible descendants we must rely on our centuries-long traditions, customs, historical heritage and this leads us to commence, to have a stronger reputation and place in the world in the future.
