Addis Ababa Police Commission has been implemented community policing to achieve its missions and vision. However, there is no study conducted on how far the community policing successfully implemented in the city. Hence, this study was trying to measure the level of implementation of community policing in the city. 252 frontline community policing officers were taken as a sample to measure the objectives. Descriptive statistics were utilized to measure the level of implementation. The findings revealed that the level of implementation of community policing in the city is moderate. Therefore, there should be a compelling law that makes consultative councils and municipal government active participants in the efforts of community policing.
