Abstract

In today's competitive business scenario every enterprise wants to gain profits and success of the organization. The success of the business depends upon the performance and commitment of the employees towards their work. When the employees put full efforts to make themselves engaged in their work only then they can provide excellent better customer service, innovative products, good interpersonal relationships which all are the mantras to get success in this competitive business environment. Because organizations have recognized the importance of employees so they are aligning the human resource strategies, organizational strategies with the business strategy to make them highly committed, involved and engaged. This paper attempts to elucidate the theoretical framework of employee engagement.
