The article reveals some peculiarities of the image of Khusrau Parvez, which is the main negative image in AlisherNavoi's epic “Farhad and Shirin”. The focus is on aspects of this image that have so far been largely ignored by researchers. The great skill of the poet in creating the image of Khusrau is explored.
