The article is dedicated to the problem of the activation of the independent works of students by means of information technologies, in particular, through the system of the distance learning Moodle. The literature analysis of the problem, selecting the optimal modele, also the methodical and technological problems in the creation of the seminar in a ESSAY form will facilitate the improvement of the skills and capabilites in the education.
