Ideological interpretation of seasonal and ceremonial songs in “Diwanlughat al-turk” - “Compendium of the languages of the turks”

In this article, Mahmud Kashgari's “Diwanlughat al-turk” discusses the seasonal and ceremonial songs. Mahmud Kashgari is one of the greatest scholar of the 11th century. His work “Diwanlughat al-turk”“Compendium of the languages of the Turks”is one of the rare sources of world Turkology. It can be called a linguistic-literary encyclopedia of Turkic studies. At the same time, the book provides valuable information about the folklore, history, mythology and geography of the Turkic peoples of that time.
