Plethora of dengue cases is reported every year across the globe. Dengue fever is a mosquito-borne tropical disease caused by the dengue virus.1 If not treated early; it may turn into severe dengue called Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) which may proceeds to dengue shock syndrome due to excessive bleeding, plasma leakage and low blood pressure. It is one of the biggest threats in tropical and subtropical regions during the monsoon as this leads to high vector (Aedes aegypti) densities hence, cases of dengue soar.
