Gastrointestinal problems are very common in childhood. Diarrhea may occur not only due to spread of infection by parenteral route or from any infectious disease but also related to nutritious factors like over or under nutrition, food allergy and food poisoning, or some drugs.

To assess the knowledge of mothers of under five children regarding prevention and management of diarrhoea.
