A Study to assess the Knowledge regarding Hand Hygiene among Staff Nurse in Wockhardt Hospital Rajkot, Gujarat State

1. to assess the level of knowledge of staff nurses regarding hand hygiene practices in Operation Theater. 2. To associate the relationship between levels of knowledge of hand hygiene practices in OT with selected demographic variables.

Non-experimental design was selected for the study evaluation approach.

Purposive sampling technique will be used to select the samples for the study. Data Collection

A Self-administered questionnaires is used to select data from the subjects. Data analysis: The significance of relationship between the selected demographics variables and knowledge and practices scores will be analyzed by using chi-squire test.

The Result of Chi square analysis shown that there was significant association between Age and Education qualification of knowledge score.

Hence research hypothesis was accepted, there is a significant association between staff knowledge regarding hand hygiene and selected demographic variable.
