A preexperimental study was conducted on mothers of school age children regarding child abuse and its prevention. The literature were reviewed from research and non research literature in order to accomplish the objectives pre experimental approach was adopted. The data was analyzed interms of objectives and by using both descriptive and inferential statistics major findings that before implementing education, the mothers having 46.67% very poor knowledge and poor is 53.33% and after implementing teaching 33.34% having average, 63.33% good and 3.33% having excellent knowledge. T test was calculated to assess significant difference between pretest and post test score. It revealed that there is significant difference between pretest and post test knowledge score.
