The influence of social media on health behavior among College students of Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Vattamalaipalayam was assessed. The objective of this study was intended to find the relationship between social media addiction and health behavior. Non experimental descriptive research design was used. Young internet addiction scale and General health questionnaire were adopted for this study. 250 samples were recruited through purposive sampling technique. This study includes college students aged 18–23 years, with marginally high male representation (52%) and identified 43.2%, 20% and4% as students with average, frequent and addicted to internet respectively. This result highlights the vulnerability of college students to internet addiction. Researcher concluded that there is an association between selected demographic variables and social media addiction and there is a correlation between health behavioral changes and social media addiction.
