Abstract

This paper focuses on highlighting the way of importance of motivational factors of employees at Punjab National Bank, Hoshiarpur. This descriptive survey addressed ten motivating factors in the context of employee motivation theory. The objective of this paper is to analyze and motivate the employees. The sample size has been taken as 50 out of total population of 100. Final observations of the study are that most of the employees are satisfied and also findings suggest interesting work and good pay are keys to higher employee motivation. Carefully designed reward systems that include job enlargement, job enrichment, promotions, internal and external stipends, monetary, and non-monetary compensation should be considered.
