Abstract

Widely used terms ‘value’ and ‘growth’ investment styles have a long history in equity management. Various investment strategies have been analyzed in the past based on the metrics of these styles. This study analyzed the investment performance analysis of various strategies formed on the basis of six value and growth parameters during the various rising and falling trends of Indian equity market. In our economy the results have not been able to provide similar evidence as related to other developed nation. The growth strategies have been more profitable and their style-level counterparts were too.
