Impact of intellectual capital on financial performance of companies listed at Tehran Stock Exchange

This research investigated relationship between intellectual capital and financial performance. Therefore, we used components such as human capital, structural capital, customer capital as intellectual capital and four factors of ROA, ROE, EPS, and MV/BV. Following, we measured the four factors of financial performance and components of intellectual capital by EVA model in companies listed at Tehran Stock Exchange during 2007 and 2011. Then, we used Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple analyzing regressions throughout added value intellectual capital's pattern in order to investigate impact of capital intellectual and its components on financial performance. Results indicated that significant relationship exists between intellectual capitals with return in equity, return on assets and market value to book value and finally earnings per share.
