Abstract

This study traces the origin, growth and ascendency of Sahara Group and its founder-Chairman, Mr. Subrata Roy. It contains a narrative of the various companies, instruments and financial activities of the Group, leading up to its on-going legal battle with Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
