Financial literacy refers sets of required skills and perceptions to manage funds resource. This issue was raised for the first time in the past two decades by the British Educational Research Foundation and it has become a major research in the world and its importance in many aspects of social and psychological studies has been confirmed including financial welfare and social security of population. However, despite the significant importance of financial literacy concepts, this issue has not been well explored on internal research and training, and measurement of financial literacy of people in the country have not been considered. Therefore, the present study designed for assess the employees’ financial literacy of Science and Research Branch of Islamic Azad University. Standard questionnaire is a main measure for examine the financial literacy. The study population consisted of all full time employees of Science and Research Branch of Islamic Azad University. The population study is 900 employees. The sample size has been determined by available samples. Therefore, in this research studied 205 employees of Science and Research Branch of Islamic Azad University. The data collected through the questionnaire with the help of various techniques of inferential statistics, ANOVA, Duncan's test and regression analysis were examined. Results show that, the adequacy of financial literacy of employees is relatively low. Also, the demographic characteristics such as age and gender impact on the level of financial literacy of employees.
